About GCC
Craig Walsey, Founder & Principal Consultant
With over 30 years of experience in ecommerce, licensing, and global brand expansion, Craig has built a career guiding companies to scale their businesses.
In 2016, Craig founded Brand Access (BA) which became the leading partner for large DTC brands establishing localized operations in key markets, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia, and Mexico. Under Craig’s leadership, BA earned a reputation as the #1 choice for global market entry and in-country ecommerce execution.
In 2024, BA was acquired by Passport Global, the foremost international ecommerce fulfillment solutions provider. With the acquisition of BA, Passport further strengthened its commitment to helping brands unlock their global potential.
While at BA, Craig advised and supported some of the world’s most recognized consumer brands, including Hexclad, Ridge, Bungie/Sony Interactive Media, Darn Tough, Glamnetic, Ozlo Sleep, Fangamer, Made In Cookware, Supercell and more.
Prior to launching BA, Craig served as Chief Revenue Officer and Head of Global Business Development for MyPlay, a division of Sony, working with such well known brands as Snoopy/Peanuts, Roblox, 20th Century Studios, Krispy Kreme, and the AMC Network. He also held senior leadership roles at Paramount Pictures, Winterland Productions, bebe stores and a variety of internet start-ups.
Craig began his career as an attorney for Viacom. He earned his B.A. from Emory University and his J.D. from New York Law School.
A frequent speaker on global ecommerce & brand licensing, Craig has presented at numerous industry events, most recently in September of 2025 at Parcel Forum, where he spoke on “Optimizing Global Fulfillment: The Right Time to Add In-Country Operations to Your Strategy.”
